My car was registered in 2021

But randomly when you type the car reg in some places comes up with Skoda Kodiaq 2019 NS. What does this mean? Did they delay shipping it due to covid pandemic ?

Also says 140kw which I gather now same as 190hp.

Just seems strange as the original certificate confirmation mentions 2021 on it and it's the same vin no as I checked

Your 'Author stats' show - Model: Skoda kodiaq, Year: 2017, is this correct or have you moved on to a 2021 registered car?

Further complication and confusion can come from marketing use 'model year' instead of build year.

All databases have errors and omissions (including those of manufacturers) and all information from any source (particularly internet) should be checked and cross-referenced as much as possible or reasonable.

The places that show your car as 2019 (if it is not a 2019) may have the same databases or from same source(s) and have the same correct and incorrect information.

Some car part suppliers can list incorrect parts even if they list your car correctly.

Hi. On paper ie v5 it's 2021 registered. And also on the original confirming certificate says 2021 . But on arnold clark auto said 2019.....

So Arnold Clarke is giving bad info.

As I said above, if you want to know the exact build date I can tell you, but not without the requested details.

That's fine. It confirms things and as I have the confirmation certificate which vin and date says 2021. I'm sure it a 2021 and the other source is just wrong. It was registered 2021 and I'm sure the build date 2021 as to the letter and model year says 2021

I know who Sir Arnold was, i know the Dealerships, i know they can be crap, but what do you mean by on Arnold Clark auto?

Do you mean an advert, or some certificate they issue?

I contacted Skoda HQ on their chat feature and when giving the private plate (had been on there for at least a year by that point) they couldn’t find it.

So I gave the original plate which confirmed to the VIN.

At which point the guy at the other end quoted a different black colour. I said I thought it was Black Magic and he basically said they’re all black, there won’t be much difference 🤯🤯
