Infotainment issues

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a Skoda Fabia TSI 2020 and recently the infotainment system has started to cut out/switch off when using a mobile phone via usb. Sometimes it comes back on and sometimes it doesn't. The dealer garage can't find the problem, but it's driving me nuts. It doesn't matter if it's through an android or iphone and we've tried different cables. Sometimes it says it doesn't recognise the usb. Or it says, 'unable to check whether the mobile device supports Android Auto.' Sometimes it will then be off all day. Apparently the software is up to date. Our mobiles are up to date. The cables all work elsewhere. I can't attach the videos I have as they exceed the 10mb size. Any ideas?

What is the part number and firmware version of infotainment unit?

Hi - thanks for replying. I'm not sure where I'd find the part number, or the firmware version, unless that means Amundsen?
