Hi everyone, I have a 2021 Octavia, with the most annoying rattle that sounds like it coming from within the dashboard on the steering wheel side (RHD vehicle), I have removed a fair bit of trim to try and find the piece that’s making the noise, however it’s still there. Does anyone have any suggestions of what it may be?

I’ve also got a rattle in an area similar to that which you describe. Part of me thinks it might be in the steering wheel, on the right side of the central boss - but I can’t be sure. Have asked a passenger if they could locate it but alas not - without leaning over to a position which would become dangerous on the road.

Thankfully most major roads are smooth enough not to trigger the rattle, and those that are not have dreadful road noise anyway (e.g. concrete section of M25).

the sunglasses holder in the roof rattles for me. When you press gently, the rattle completely stops

No sunglasses are in the holder either, so its not me going bonkers!

between the locking mechanism and it should stop...

Finally sorted this, noice was coming from inside the airbag
