I bought this preamp cable for use with my Symphony:

Connected it all up and couldnt get the Symphony to power up the amp.

I then connected up an aftermarket HU to the blue remote wire and RCAs and it switched the amp on fine, and everything ran ok.

So, I know my wiring install for the amp is good.

Have a bought the wrong cable for the Symphony HU?

If not, and someone confirms I have indeed bought the correct cable from Bluespot I can only assume the Bluespot cable is faulty, and I will send it back for a replacement and try again!

I think you'll be ok John but you may have to swap one or two of the cables over in the plug. Have a look at the pinouts and see how that compares to your cable -

I've looked into these before but it fell by the wayside.

I have one of these cables taking up space in a drawer at home, pm me your address and I'll pop it in the post for you.

I know it works as I ran my infinity off of it.
