How to turn off speed camera announcements ??

Featured Replies

Hi all

SEL iV new last month after 3 Superbs and I am trying to turn off the speed camera warning/announcements that pop up on the screen. Really getting on my nerves, I have looked every where/googled, can any one help please?

Thanks

If its the same as the Superb look for an App on the dash called Traffication. That has teh settings for speed camera announcements.

Thanks for that, I’ve been searching for the elusive button for ages.

Thank you. My wife drives the car and as a passenger it irritates me especially when she is using speed control to drive at the legal limit anyhow!

In fact it is reaching the situation where Skoda (and others) are telling you how to drive and there are features which cannot be turned off because they are safety related. Except they are not!

Thank you for the answer.

I have the opposite.

My Kodiaq SEL Iv which was new in Dec 2024, has only 3 times alerted me to fixed speed cameras (including once in France), it has never alerted me to traffic light cameras, and does not warn me of road closures until after I have been diverted from the closed road and have started following diversion signs.

No sure if it is related but my car is one of the many where the maps do not load in the virtual cockpit.

Note. The settings in the tariffication are all set to the enabled position, and I am the primary user.

Any suggestions?
