hi:) does anybody have any experiance with an ipod mini? Im having trouble trying to get it to update with checked songs only!! I think i must be doing something wrong!!

Not quite sure what you mean, but...

The way I update my Nano is, I have created a playlist in iTunes called ipod, which I drag all my selected songs into, then get my nano to sync with my 'selected playlist' (ipod)...

What kind of error are you getting? You must ensure that in the iPod preferences (Ctrl + ,) it is set to only update items which are checked. This applies to any iPod that is syncronised with iTunes.

Let me know if you have any more problems.

have checked the box for automatic updates of checked songs only..but it wont do this.What i thought it should do is if i check the songs i want in my library then tell the ipod to udate just with the checked songs it would wipe whats on the ipod and replace with what was checked!! but not this doesnt work.What a really want to do is take some albums off and add a couple of new ones,but as my ipod is full it wont do this automaticaly!!

What does it update? Do you get an error message? Have you requested manual update with checked songs or automatic update with checked songs? Has it ever worked for you?

I still don't quite understand how you have configured iTunes at present and whether the synchronisation is working or just not working the way you want it to.
