When I try and connect my iPhone it finds my phone and give the pairing code but then I get ‘authorisation failed’ anyone know how to resolve this please

I do not know if it helps, but my uncle had a similar issue some years ago trying to pair his very up to date phone to an older Mercedes. It was simply not compatible due to the technology/age difference.
