In my experience the front dampers VWŠkoda use instead of being called "shocks" should be called "shockings". 😁

Rear too

Ok, just a limited review after a hundred some kilometers on dry road, mostly highway and some city. Sunny days, around 25-28° C.

Just to mention, after tire fitting I did wheel aligment too. Front Toe was set at +0.2° (I think degrees not milimeters, forgot to ask). For those unfamiliar with "Toe" it means front tires are facing slightly inwards (gives slightly better straight line hold).

So Pirelli ....as any allseason tire it has a bit of tendency to steer left and right (tread pattern, new tire with a lot of thread) BUT it is remarkably miniscule !!

It's more in a sense of high performance tire, where you need to stay focused and hold the wheel s tiny bit firmer.

Or maybe it's just, being stiff XL tire.

Cinturato is very precise and also in curves, no sidewall bending or understear. I was driving one long, medium sharp, highway curve at 170-180km/h, it was a breeze, felt like a razor blade. Sharp and precise.

Braking.......after Michelin, stoping with Pirelli is nice. So much, that car actually feels lighter because braking is so much better and confident.

Of course, all of this is a bit "after the shock modification" review, so not quite apples and apples, but as I said modification was somewhat subtle and difference with Cinturato is not.

In next few days, might have a rain here, so if I'm out I'll let you know

With Winter or all season tyres when i had fitted to Skoda Fabia vRS,s or narrower tyres i adjusted the steering assist.

Set to less assist compared to the Factory setting.

Thanks, but I neither have software/tools nor knowlege how to do it

@ZJZ I am having Cross Climate 3,s fitted on Saturday.

The size is 205/60 R 16 V 96. I thought worth giving a try as selling at less the Cross Climate 2 & +

Cold nights arriving here already.. The tyres the car i got today are a mixed set & the grip was crap even in the dry.

Yep, that's a good deal. They should be good too. I had Kleber Quadraxer 3 which are very close to CC. Once they break in they were very good.
