Coincidence, i don't think so

I have used Sainsbury's diesel in my Octy 99.9 percent of the time since i bought it about 2 years ago. This is because it is always about 2p per litre cheaper (at least) and it the closest petrol station to my house.

Two days ago, when the tank was about 30miles from empty, i decided to get diesel. I was driving past a shell station when i noticed diesel was 99.9, the same price as sainsbury's where selling it for, so i put in

Shell Diesel is good stuff. I can't tell the difference between it and BP Ultimate. But they both seem to make a marked difference compared to BP Standard, and pretty much all other brands. In traffic the car is smooth and responsive but say if I filled up at Texaco or Jet or somewhere it can get 'grumpy' and a little hesitant. It makes the most difference in town.

Biggest bonus though is its actually cheaper than elsewhere near me! Shell is 97.9 where everywhere else I've noticed is stuck at 99.9
