That looks prity darn fine to me mate:thumbup:

At least it'd be easy to paint, and if you get fed up of it, paint it satin black instead.

Great work Mort  .........................I wish i had Photoshop :weeping:

That is actually not bad looking at all. Just out of curiousity, but can you just paint over the chrome, or does it need to be stripped down first?

Sorry Q, but that is just ghastly imho.

Stick with the original plan of the orange bottom part and perhaps paint the grille surround black, that may look pretty good.

I'm just asking... :P

Buy a new chome part, and then you can pop on the orange on to be seen on track and put the chrome back on when you want to save face at the local supermarket?

Don't be so sensible... I wonder where I can get a replacement chrome part... ;)

Hmm' date=' not sure I'd go that far ;)

Am just looking for a way to make my car more recognisable in a distance... so my son can see where his daddy is on the track at Trax. And no, I don't need no funnies like "you'll be parked on the grass after the first corner" :( ;)[/quote']

What about the easy option and make the no. plate orange :) ...maybe put in on the back of the plate so its re-usable...flip plate when required ;) .

You'd need to use a Etch Primer before painting over the chrome, it not dear tho.

One that's been applied, just paint as normal. ;)
