2015 Fabia 1.2 SEL upgrade to Nav

Featured Replies

What equipment do I need to upgrade to a Nav head unit ? I picked up a cheap 6V0919604C on eBay, which works, but realise now that I need additional bits to get the nav / android auto. Matching multi media unit and leads ? I'd previously purchased a nice looking android head unit on AliExpress but it didn't come with the correct leads for the SEL multi media set-up. Advice on either is welcomed please.

6V0919604C is just a display unit. Pls share VIN of your Fabia so I can check details.

TMBFM6NJ5FZ058323 Not sure if you received this. I quickly pinged it whilst at work. Any advice is much appreciated please.

You just have to replace the infotainment reader (golve box unit), no need to replace the display unit (however you can do it if you want). The question is if you want Bolero (withput built-in OEM sat nav) or Amundsen (with built-in OEM sat nav). What do you expect from the new unit?

In the seller's eBay photo of the head unit I purchased, it was displaying android auto, car play and mirror link. It's only showing mirror link with my reader. All I want is the OEM sat nav and android auto. I assume that Amundsen is better ?
