Clutch and flywheel compatibility

Featured Replies

Hi guys I've sourced a cheap brand new luk flywheel and cheap brand new valeo 3/4 (can't remember which one) piece clutch kit here locally in NI for my 1.9 bjb octavia. It says online that they are compatible but I'm not 100% on it. Any advise is appreciated guys. Also online when running the part numbers it just gives as a 2004-2010 octavia z1 105 bhp so I'm under the illusion that the likes of a bxe bjb engine etc all fall under this umbrella or am I wrong?

If you want to explore the detail you can see the parts catalogue for a 2004 1Z mk2 Octy HERE. You'll need to navigate through the options for the relevant page/s for your motor.

An alternative is to go look at the autodoc.com site and search there. This usually brings up a number of options and often tells you the part numbers.

I had probems with my sons fabia clutch kit. There are two sizes available but emailed LUK (Schaeffler) with detais etc and they came back within a few hours to confirm fitment. They were very helpfull and very quick at getting back to me.
