Odds & sods about myself & Octy's

Drove one of the first TDI's imported into the UK, as a hire car, around Scotland & thought it the best car I'd ever come across. Wanted one as the new company car, but they did away with them as mine came up for renewal.:(

They may have all laughed at the idea of a Skoda being a great car, but they changed their tunes when they actually drove one.

Ended up getting a Felicia to just on the cheap whilst contracting for a few years & couldn't fault it - 130k miles before any parts needed replacing.

Finally managed to get a bog standard 1.6 GLXi a year ago & only problem has been the bonnet release cable detaching from the mechanism yesterday.

Just looking to add a CD player, with autochanger; if I can ever find the wiring loom in a boot that always seems to be full of kit for work.

Keep promising myself a VRS for the next one.

Only downside was the divorce that was, in part due to her being too much of a badge snob.

Probably end up looking for advice when the CD player kit arrives:D
