Hi everyone here at Briskoda. I've visited this site couple of times and this is pretty cool. At this moment I have a -03 Octavia 1.6i Ambiente with some SimoniRacing interior tuning, Blaupunkt/Infinity/Rockford-Fosgate as ICE, Eibach lowering springs, 17 inch Momo wheels with 225/45 R 17 Aurora tires and In.Pro backlights as outside tuning. I've been very pleased with my Octy but next week I'll put an order for a brand new black Fabia RS. And of course already been planning for some upgrades and tuning... :cool: But it will be a very painful to wait for the 10 to 12 weeks for the new car, so probably I'll be spending a lot of time here in Briskoda. Prepping to do 2.0TSi clutch in future - plenty of time and opportunity as I mentioned recently I have a 1.8T L&K Octy also ! I'd seen a comment at some point someone recommending to change rear main seal whilst you are in there. Something to watch for? Also as below

I have a 12 year old Skoda Octavia mk3 TSI 1.4 with 155000 miles on the clock. It has JUST scraped through its MOT after repeated emissions failures due to carbon buildup. The mechanic has told me he doesn't want to see the car back next year as it won't pass again and cleaning the carbon deposit off wouldn't be worth it given the age and value of the car. I've read a lot about Walnut Blasting to remove carbon buildup. Would it be worth it in my case or is the mechanic right, and I should just

Been here a little under 7 years. Great forum, I'm sure I'll hang around still but I've moved my octy on now for a VW Tiguan. The Octavia was a cracking car, reliable too. I took it from 47k to 120k miles, and it really didn't disappoint. The only issue it had was the heater matrix, which I had replaced eventually after freezing hands in winter!! It will pass to a new owner with full service history (Independent Vasstechnik in Eastbourne who are just great with all VW group cars). I've left

Hello , my brother has biught kodiak with matrix led lights. One of the problem is that high beam don't light up automatically and there is option to enable it on the menu. I have read somewere that someone had the same problem , but in tme meatime recieved an ota update and the function appeard . I have an obd11 but can't connect the car because of rhe newer protection so I was wondering how I could enable it. Another thing is if it would be possible to enable the inner rear stop lights.
