Questions regarding the Virtual Cockpit

Thank you for the detailed explanations.

@gregeeh I did say the manual gives strong hints. It's translated from Czech as far as I know and not that brilliantly, but I love it.

As I already pointed out the dashboard is not static like it would be in an older car. It is in effect a little computer screen. So the car's brain can make use of it to put different messages on screen. In your case it seems to have prioritised the bulb warning over Trip data.

But as exkiwi has pointed out you can still have trip data in the middle of the screen or inside one of the two dials.

I assume the dealer is fixing the bulb thing for you?

Thanks once again for your input, much appreciated. And yes, the dealer is going to fix the bulb. The car was delivered to me new with the fault and I never got out the gate before reversing the car and showing them the issue. I was not a happy Skoda client, let's put it that way. The headlight assy. has to come from Czech to Australia and will take several weeks.

Thank you once again.

Here is what I have at present Centre is distance to car in front and speed limiter is set to 105 and brings up a gig red notice and gongs ring. Other relevant info is speed and gears and down the bottom is lane assist etc.. Temp on left and Fuel on right and away you go
