2012 Skoda Yeti Radio – Bluetooth Audio Briefly Gets Quieter During Audiobooks

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a strange problem with the car radio in my 2012 Skoda Yeti.
When I connect my iPhone to the radio via Bluetooth, I can listen to music on Spotify without any issues.
However, when I listen to an audiobook on Spotify, I keep getting these short moments where the sound briefly gets quieter and then goes back to normal.

I’m not sure how to describe it, but it feels as if some other process is momentarily causing the volume to drop and then go back up again. Since the problem happens both in Spotify and Audible (even in the web version) and with different iPhones, I think it’s more likely an issue with the Yeti’s radio. (I already checked the apps for things like crossfading, transitions, etc.)

Is this a known issue? Is there anything I can do about it? Also, is there any newer firmware for the radio that I can download and install to fix this?

What else should I write to make the problem easier to understand?

I hope someone recognizes or understands this problem.
Thanks!
