Driver seatbelt error

Featured Replies

Hi,

While picking up my new Superb Mk4 L&K TDI 193 CP, while driving to the nearby gas station, driver seatbelt unfastened chime popped up.

After refueling, the same.

I’m back at the dealer, being serviced as we speak. They said they were able to observe the problem, but then it just disappeared. They are now doing a reset and asked me to film if the problem will show up again.

Did anyone experience the same problem? Wondering if it has to do with software or it’s simply poor quality of the seatbelt fastened electric contact.

Hoping this is the only issue, but of course I’m a bit anxious right now.

Thanks!

The alert was only for the driver seat (my seat).

And there were anyway no objects on the other seats.

Update: after 2 hours spent in dealers's service, they couldn't find anythintg and the problem didn't show up again. They did some reset procedure (whatever that means). Already did 1000 km with no further issue.
