vRS built and sat at Emden - Roughly how long?

Polestar 4 is considerably more expensive than the Elroq and the rear view mirror made my eyes hurt when we drove it.

Our Elroq took a week to arrive at the dealership after build was completed. Maybe we just got lucky and caught a ship in time.

When did you order yours

August, I think. I've just sent the Wife a message to ask (it's her car).

Ordered in August and received first week of October , It suggests it was here already. Especially if she couldn't pick the interior she wanted.

End of June I've just been told. Skoda had just released the leasing prices the morning we ordered. It was very much a build car with every option ticked bar the dog guard and tow bar.

Nice on delivery, I spoke to my dealer again today . The manager phoned up and they assured me they are doing what they can and still frustrated.

Having looked around we still want the Elroq, the polestar 4 seemed like it could be good but a few compromises and the reason we were getting the Elroq was we wanted a smaller car then our model Y.

The dealer has offered to loan us a car and thinks the Elroq should be with us in 10-14 days .

I think it's a fair situation and they've done what they can to resolve it , will stick with this and see what happens

Hurrah, she is finally at the Dealer.

They've sent me a video of our VRS just as it's come off the transporter , Hyper green will definitely stand out 🤣 collecting on Friday at lunch time so only two sleeps, all quite exciting

Have you got your car yet? Picked mine up yesterday at 12.40pm by 3.40pm I had to call ŠKODA assist as it completely broke down while I was shopping. Car has 26 miles on it, not happy, not happy at all! Being picked up and transported back to dealership on Monday (it was closed by the time they got to us) sigh, back to waiting I guess…

What was wrong with it?

Everything apparently, when I tried to turn it back on after going shopping it wouldn’t turn back on kept on flashing up all of these failed systems, when they came out they tried to reboot the computer but it wasn’t having it so now it’s sat outside my house, I feel like it’s taunting me tbh, it’s here but not here. I’m so frustrated and annoyed by it all cos for the 40 minutes I had to drive it, it was amazing!

Really sorry to hear that, that's an awful start to the ownership which takes the joy out of it. I do hope they can get it quickly fixed for you.

I think so far I've been really lucky with our vRS and it hasn't had a single issues, fingers crossed once they sort it for you it becomes the same for you

Yeah that’s not happening anytime soon, I have another month at a guess as they couldn’t fix it at the dealership and are planning to send it somewhere to get the battery checked out, insult to injury is repeatedly being emailed and asked to give a review on the car. My head is exploding atm.

Skoda / VW UK can get an expert to the car. It should not need to be transported from place to place. There could be a new replacement car with you by now rather than you having a lenon.

Oh if only, it’s nearly 1 month since I collected the car and then gave it back to ŠKODA to fix… I still don’t have my car and at this point am considering just telling them to keep it when it’s fixed. No update from them either so no clue what’s going on with it. I’m fuming right now!!

This really is a SKODA / VW UK issue. Lack of After Sales Customer Services. Do SKODA UK HQ know, is anyone in the EXECUTIVE TEAM aware? They really need to get a grip. They as in SKODA UK are their own worst enemy.

I’ve written to their CS department and the response given was ‘it’s a lease car so not my problem’ then to add insult to injury they sent an email asking me to rate their customer service. Underwhelmed is not the word for it really

No point communicating with this lot. You need to get passed them. You need someone with Skoda UK,s executive team. A named person. The CEO is 3 monkeys as are his team. Selectively, deaf & blind and really dumb.

Apparently I will receive my Elroq again next week, so exactly 12 weeks after it went back to be fixed and 13 weeks since I picked it up. So very, very annoyed! Was supposed to pick up this week but it wasn’t fixed yet sigh oh and it’s apparently costing ŠKODA about £8K including labour costs to fix, would have been less hassle for them to have just replaced it if you ask me. Got told wasn’t it ‘lucky’ I had the major fault when I got the car rather than a year down the line. Funnily I don’t see where the luck is in this scenario so it’s been 11 months from order date to collection (if it comes off next week)

You should have rejected the car and got them to order you another.

Finally got the car, the new car shine has gone off it for me as it’s been so darned long since I originally picked it up and had to return it to be fixed. Yes, it’s an brilliant vehicle to drive, I love the colour and it’s super quiet and comfortable but cos it broke down on pick up day and took so long to get fixed it meant I’ve spent 3 months driving around in a replacement car, a Ford Explorer, as my first full EV so now everything in the ŠKODA feels like it’s in the wrong place, there’s also that tiny niggle in the back of my mind that now say ‘what if it breaks down when I’m on a long journey’ so my original range anxiety is now coupled with breakdown anxiety so right now it’s not a relaxing drive at all. Totally gutted that I feel this way as this was the first brand new car we’ve had in 10 years
