Hello, I'm a newbie here.

I have an Octavia FSI mk2 petrol 2.0l 2007.

The rear off-side pasenger door does not lock, fault traced to the module on the electric window motor after having purchased a new door lock unit.

I swapped the window module with the L/H window module and hey presto lock works.

Looing on line for a replacement module, does it matter that the replacement part is off a diesel modle, as I can not seem to find a unit that exactly matches the part number on my duff unit. It's the last letters of part number that seem to differ.

Can anyone advise please

The last letters are the revision version. Later letters are usually backwards compatible.
