Figured I'd best introduce myself. I'm Andy and I'm nearly 3 years into Octavia ownership.

It hasn't been without its problems (4x4, so mostly rear diff issues) but for some reason, this car has got right under my skin and I can't get rid of it. It's only an oil burner but it's superb for taking the dogs on long distance euro trips and I still think it looks the dogs dangly bits when it's cleaned up 👌🏻

🤣 we’ve all been there, on both sides of the coin toss.

My current mk2 is getting on now but I can’t find anything to justify replacing it with, despite its creaks, rattles, etc.

The thing it replaced (1st gen Inshi7nia) was fancier looking, had way more torque and power, as many toys etc. but its list of niggles made me hate it by the time it died on me, and I wasn’t sad about it, just annoyed at the financial implications..
