ACC fault. 'No visibility' despite clean sensor and front grille

Featured Replies

Hello,

My Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) radar has suddenly stopped working. The car's system indicates that the sensor's view is blocked, but the front grille and the sensor itself are both completely clean.

I noticed corrosion on one of the pins in the plug and on the corresponding spot on the sensor. I cleaned the corrosion, but the system is still not functioning. I've checked for fault messages in both my Skoda and Mobilscan apps, but neither shows any issues. All other sensors appear to be working correctly.

Could recalibration of the ACC sensor be the only thing needed to get it working again?
