Gearbox error codes advice

Featured Replies

Hi Folks, I need some advice regarding a series of gearbox error codes on my 16' Superb 2.0tdi DSG (6 speed) detected during a scan with OBDeleven.

I have attached a screenshot of the error codes.

The car has been running fine and the gearbox behaving as it should but this is the 2nd time I have had these codes present after clearing the same fault codes a few weeks back.

Should I be concerned? Thank you

Did you run the scan whilst driving the car?

I only ask, as I got very similar results a few days ago, whilst scanning and on the move, however the car's been driving fine.

I had scanned the car a few times before whilst stationary/engine off and not had these faults before.

However...in between the no-fault and fault-riddled scans, I did a gearbox adaptations reset (which has made the car drive better), so hopefully haven't unearthed any underlying problems.

I'm away for a few days but will rescan it without driving.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for your reply. I didn't scan whilst driving but the engine was running/car stationary whilst scanning. Would this have caused it maybe?

Hi There,

Thanks for your reply too.

I really don’t know, so will scan mine without it running when I’m back from my travels and let you know.

I did just google search it though, and found this post on the OBDEleven forum:

Hopefully someone else with more knowledge will chime in the meantime 🙂

That's interesting. Thank you. Let me know After you get round to scanning yours again?

Will do buddy!

Scanned this morning with ignition on and engine off.

No errors at all, woo-hoo!

That's good news. Thanks for sharing.

I've just done a 144 mile journey and have obdeleven scanned with ignition on / engine off. No gearbox error codes, so that confirms that the above error codes will be present if the engine is running. Many thanks for your help.
