Driver door doesn't lock on the fob

Featured Replies

Hey, so I've recently bought myself a 2013 1.2 TSI, and the when using the fob the drivers door doesn't lock but all the passenger's do. The drivers door does lock when using the key. What would be the reason for this? and how easily of a fix would it be.

This is a chronic problem in VAG group cars. It is the motor in the door lock actuator. If you can do by yourself, just try changing the motor in the lock. Otherwise, change the whole lock. I will suggest you to service the hinges also if you remove the door trim.

You can try here

Talk with the seller first for right item. Or buy a new actuator (for long term).
