Hi all, just bought a 2020 L&K superb and have software version MOI3_EU_SKMQB_P32400P, is there any reason to upgrade to 332?

Nothing massively evident between 324-330-332 in my experience. For no hassle it’s never a bad thing having the latest firmware anyway though.

Since it's only an update or 2 apart, it shouldn't mess with the navigation, where you have to coding, right?

It hasn’t been reported as such as far as I’m aware.

I went from 0276 and navigation continued to work with no issues.

Hi @travs !

Is there a newer version than 0332, since last year?

Hey - not as far as I know. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re focussing on a new version for the next gen and not putting so much in anything more. I don’t go looking for it though

Hi everyone,

I’ve attached a photo from my infotainment screen showing the current software/version information.

I’d like to ask if this is the latest software available for this system, or if there is a newer update that I should be looking for.

For context:

  • my car has the eSIM permanently active,

  • Infotainment Online is enabled,

  • and Care Connect is also active and working properly.

One more thing I noticed: when I go into Software Update and press it, I don’t get any message or prompt. The screen just goes blank and nothing else happens.

Given that everything is connected, I was expecting any available OTA updates to be installed automatically, but I’m not sure if I’m already on the latest version or if something is not working correctly.

Any advice or confirmation would be much appreciated. Thanks!

There were some things needed from much earlier versions like 156 but I'm note sure when they weren't necessary; to do with FEC/SWAP codes which I think is to do with Navigation licence.

Ah found it HERE

But I've read some guy having troubles from updating 330 to 332 and that definitely is odd. I've seen plenty of updates from 278 through to 332 (you need 308 as a stepping stone) and nothing about reactivating codes or losing navigation etc.

Here's the link to my folder - it has 308, 330 and 332 in; you need 308 first then 332.

Hi all, sorry to open this up again, and thanks for making these files available. Is there a way I can confirm if the files are suitable for my mk 3 superb? Screenshot below.

Also on a slightly related topic, does anyone know if a firmware update will make YouTube available on Android auto? I hear it's being rolled out but I'm not sure if it's more to do with the phone app getting an update, or maybe my 2021 superb will never get it?

Thanks

John

Should be fine to go from 270.

Click on the link at the bottom of my 3rd reply in this thread to get the software, then follow the process in my 2nd reply.

Download, unzip files to root if a USB-C card. Download and update them one at a time. Let us know if you have any issues.

Thanks travs. I assume the files are compatible with my particular hardware? Or are they all the same?

No probs. They are compatible to the MIB3 which is what you have yep. Earlier models had MIB2/2.5 which ran on different software.
