Hello, my new Skoda Octavia arrived only two weeks ago so probably I’m missing something here, but whatever I try to set in the menu it doesn’t help to make the easy open working. In the menu it says its on, but whenever I try to move my foot under the rear bumber, nothing is happening. When the car was completely new the saler guy showed it to me, back then it worked, but I could never reproduce it and have no clue what Im doing wrong.

This feature is known by Skoda as the " Virtual Pedal"

The opening instruction is :

• Open:

  Make a quick kicking motion under the rear bumper to make the boot open automatically. 

Bit of knack.Don't stand to close (keys in pocket) try a few different types of kicks slow to fast hopefully it'll work for you.

i find it either works first time or takes a few attempts
