2025 VRs leak/drip

Featured Replies

Hi, folks.

Car is 5 weeks old Octavia VRS. Out for a 15 min drive, parked the car in parents’ driveway. Came out 3 hours later and looked like a dog had had a pee by the front - liquid trail from front left. Then I saw a steady drip (pic) every 4-5 secs. It looks and smells not unlike washer fluid and I thought it might be given it’s pretty much below the fluid reservoir. Unsure of how’s it got there. Haven’t used washers for 2-3 days and not been washed for 7 days. Suggestions welcome. First thought was some sort of minute crack on the reservoir??

The yellow circle shows the damp part. The drip had just started after I’ve got home again so it looks a lot less than it’ll be when I go back out.

Probably best to ask the MK4 forum not the MK3, but the hose may have popped loose from the washer pump. Probably best to go back to the dealer as it's only 5 weeks old.
