Hi all,

Just collected the Superb yesterday although a 2018 SE L Executive it seems to be a SE Business so didn’t come with the rear camera among others.

But what I am wondering is there any benefit going for the OEM wiring and camera over others that have been discussed on here?

I have the newer style touchscreen head unit

Other than having OEM camera etc is there any real benefit?

Will be one from Skoda which has no washer jet for the lens but the highline version

Great for retrofit less pain for the reward, thought all highline version came with washer jet like main from factory

Thought I had seen the line movement on ones with and ones without the washer, my Tarraco did the lines but didn't have the washer.

The Amazon based ones looked to be an easy install but not factory which is something I am not sure I could get over...

Have opted for the OEM camera kit, got a deal online and will fit most of it myself.

Not sure about the wiring as yet but will see when I get to that part.

Does anyone know if you can also fit the button for rear camera?

The kit has arrived and I appear to have been sent the round edge handle, mine is a all square handle.

Can this handle fit before I start the process or should I send it back?

So it just fits still, had wondered if the curved part would expose where the more square would of been but I guess thats underneath the handle

Assume they produce two or more type of tailgate only because of handle switch..

Is your's a square edged all round and then fitted this rounded edge one?

Thanks but they seem to be removing a rounded edge one for a rounded edge with camera

Im pretty sure the hole is same for any type of camera

It would appear it doesn't fit the rear of the housing is now slight longer which doesn't allow for the unit to be installed no matter how hard i try to push it in
