Retrofit Helix Soundsystem

Featured Replies

We want to add a bit of bass to the Kodiaq.

After much deliberation, we purchased the Helix sound system. This includes a woofer with a small DSP for the speakers and woofer.

What is needed in our case:

Helix system ---> 000051419B

Short-circuit adapter if the woofer is removed ---> 000051727B

The cable has now been installed on the passenger side. Removing the glove box and all the trim panels is the quickest and easiest way...

Can you buy the cable separately?

You need DSP also for this System

Thank you for your reply Cairus.

Not long after I posted I found out the Helix kit is actually a kit that comes with all things needed. I just seen some of OE subwoofers on ebay without leads and thought they were the same.

I finished the retrofit today. The sound is very satisfactory, even without configuring the DSP.
