Welcome to Briskoda. There are more Fabia diesel owners than petrol now with the advent of the vRS, me being one of them! :D

Now then, how about a tuning box ontop of the Jabba map! ;) Tempting.

This is the variety of "tuning box" that plugs into the fuel temp sensor. Seems a good price until you realise that all that little box contains is a couple of resistors.

You can make one yourself for well under a tenner if you know what you are doing. ;)

Cheap effective mod though.

Thatll be

This One then :D

Did I say under a tenner? Perhaps I should change that to under

So the way I understand it is; all you do is unplug the connection from the temp sender and wire up a resistor in series and plug the wires back into the connector?

Thats what I can make of it too. Seems too easy to be true!

I'm not even thinking of clicking that link. If anything like what I think that is gets into my hands, or my head, my car will be screwed! :D

Your right Jason. Don't do it. It will all end in tears! :D

You know you want to really. Go on, just a little peek! It surely can't hurt to just click on that innocent looking link can it??

no NO NO! NOOOO!

BTW - I'm planning to butcher my airbox at the weekend/Xmas - anyone got a spare one lying around? :D

Don't do it Jason....you'll still be semi-comatose from Christmas.

Remember what happened with the headlamp cover. ;)

Do you have a tuning box? If so which one?

I Brought a TD performance box a week after the vRS, the power increase is phenominal and am wondering whether to bother with a jabba. The amount of impressed people grows by the day.

I'm just waiting for new year to rolling road it and find out how much power it has!

I've connected my tuning box from my last TDi to the vRS.

OMG its a bit quick but i'm getting a CEL with it. It needs adjusting, so at the moment its disconnected. It need a lap top tune though as it cant be done manually.

Jabba for me sometime in the New Year! :)

Since fitting the dragonperformance "chip" to my 130 PD TDi Octy estate no probs 'till now. Performance was better all round, then whilst in Worcester (60 odd miles from home) a message display came on the dash saying "emmissions workshop" and an icon of an engine allso displayed in yellow  . I removed the "chip" and the car still drove like new but the warning still showed on the dash display. Went into the local Worcester Skoda garage and showed them the apparent problem and they took it into the workshop. 5 mins later all sorted and no charge :>) Fantastic customer service in Worcester  . I hope they are as freindly and customer focused at my Skoda dealer in Oxford.
