Skoda Kodiaq MK1 Passenger side warmer than the drivers

Featured Replies

Hello! I just got my 2020 Skoda kodiaq this Friday and it's my first post here.

Yesterday morning I noticed the driverside fans do get warm but not as warm as the other side does. It also do not get as cold. I bought it on auction (without warranty) and this was the only downside so would like to get it fixed.

Where should I start? Is this common?

Ive been trying to google since yesterday but could not find anything that fits me.

I tried the calibration thing when holding ac and face blower button but nothing changed.

Im trying to save money if possible, but I understand it's hard to help without a diagnostic. I plan on buying a VCDS but they are pretty expensive here so that will have to wait for next month.

Local mechanic wants 250 euro just to look at the car

English is not my first language but I did my best, from Sweden!

Best regards

The first question is whether all the heating mats in the driver's seat are working.

Hi! Is the fan heater connected to the seat heaters? The seat heating feels the same on both sides as far as I can tell.

Sorry , i read wrong. The heat exchanger will be clogged.

Do you know a good oem parts catalogue for skoda? Easier to find parts that way.

I'm very new to skoda but in the skoda app it says adventure edition style, is that what you wanted?

Edit: Can also add it's a 2.0 diesel 190hk 7speed automatic. With leader seats

Not a UK trim level, but some higher trim levels have left/right split climate control systems.

If anyone have the same problem I got it fixed by replacing the temperature flap control motor (If I translated that right).
