Fabia mk1 battery

Featured Replies

Hello

I recently went to Halfords to get a new battery for my 2005 Fabia 1.2htp. They gave me a Yausa HSB012. After comparing it to old battery in the car the markings on top of the two batteries seem different. I’ll attach photos of both batteries below old vs new. Is the silver Yausa battery the correct replacement for this car and engine? Thanks.

Provided your vehicle does not have automatic Stop-Start and the battery physically fits the battery clamps, that's fine - your new battery just has a larger capacity and higher cranking current capability.

Ok thanks for the help. Was a bit worried when I saw the cranking current capability was hight.
