Hi All,

On the way back from holiday I noticed my car making a rattle/banging plastic noise coming from underneath on the right hand side (possibly near the front). I'm a bit of a loss what it could be. All the under trays and arch liners appear on. It only happens on short sudden bumps like rumble strips, small pot holes. Drop of kurbs or big speed humps don't create it.

Any ideas? (it is booked in but they have a 4 week wait)

It's a 2022 Kodiaq Sportline 190bhp diesel 4x4.

Broken spring or brake dust shield maybe?

Has the undertray all its screws?

I hate leaving unresolved threads. I noticed that when I would brake the car wouldnt make the noise. A bit of googling, found this thread: https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/519351-front-nearside-clunking-over-bumps-but-not-when-braking/

The car had recently had pads and disks. Took it back to the garage who swapped the pads and the noise is now gone.
