Mechatronics Problem - P0B0C00

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

Octavia 2018, 1.0 TSI

140,000 km

2 months ago, while driving car suddenly went out of gear, not moving at all, i stopped at the side of the road, turn off the engine, re start it it it drove fine, didnt happened again till this week, 3 days ago it happened again, and after few minutes it sort off got okay and i drove back home (about 7 km)

i plugged obd eleven and i saw this error in the transmission module: P0B0C00- Electric/Auxiliary Transmission Fluid Pump "A" - Hydraulic Leakage. Status: Intermittent

i went to a local garage who said my mechatronics has a problem. if the computer need to be replaced it will be around 1800 usd to fix, and if its the pump it will be around 1400 usd. and he said he thinks it is probably the computer (which is the more expensive one, and the code said pump so i feel he is not totally honest with me)

i googled it a bit and saw the most problems with those are the acumulator. does anyone know if i can do it by myself? i saw its to repair acumulator without even removing the mechatronics from the car.

i just wonder if that will fix this error code. because i didnt dound any info about this code except this website stating its the acumulator

P0B0C00 with DFCC 38528

Auxiliary Transmission Fluid Pump Hydraulic Leakage

thanks
