Octavia stalling

Featured Replies

Hi folks , I have a 2008 octavia 1.9 tdi , I recently replaced the intake flap motor as I was getting the error p3103 . Since that the car has drove fine on short journeys without any hassle . However on longer journeys the car will at times hesitate under acceleration as if it’s going to cut out . The engine light will come on with error p3101 . Saying I’ve a wiring issue somewhere ? Leave the car for a while and the light will go out itself , has anyone ever experienced this ? Have I a problem with the egr valve perhaps ? Thanks for reading , all help appreciated

If you have recently replaced flap/motor was it a new one? According to rosstech P3101 could be fuse or wiring related. As you have had it changed recently I would check that all the wiring to the motor flap is secure plus check any earths as well as fuses which may be loose or coroded. It could be that something is disconnecting or making poor connection when hot.
