Update my 2021 Octavia mk4

Featured Replies

Hi all, first of all thanks for this forum

I have a skoda octavia 2021 Dynamic, and I've been thinking about updating my infomiant system for quite a while now

I have version MOI3_EU_SK_R8030L (version 1803)

I waned to ask if it's possible to update straight to version 1989, and what I should expect from the new version?

the main reason I want to update is WAZE not working with Carplay (GPS goes crazy)

will the update solve this problem? and what are the main differences between 18 and 19 versions?

thanks all

Yes, you can.

You'll get a more smooth system.

Thanks for your reply brother, any idea about the gps problems?

And are there any extra features?

Not sure about the GPS problem. If not working you'll have to reset it by your local dealer.

Be sure to perform a factory reset after the install.

Hey,
i have same problem with GPS goes crazy, the dealer in Israel updated the version to 1989, but still have some issue with the GPS.. i have been told that the SOS module needs to be replaced..
so they will take my car in January, and i will update here if it fixes the problem.

What dealer did you use? I'm also from israel, and how much did they charge?
