Felicia rear parcel shelf lugs

Featured Replies

Hi All, well, after fully detailing the interior yesterday, now it almost looks like new inside (all seats out, hoovered and vax'd, all carpets hoovered and vax'd, plastic fully cleaned)- however, I frustratingly noticed that the rear parcel shelf lugs appear not to be long enough - what am I missing here? Or what are the lugs missing? Should there be some sort of end cap for the lugs? If the parcel shelf moves slightly to the left, the right lug drops out of the location recess, and vice versa, if the parcel shelf moves slightly to the right....

Ah skoda, simply clever, cmon its not like their tolerances on the rear parcel shelf were that important 30 years ago, and especially will not be met now

You can put an extension (e.g. a plastic cap) in the right side that's missing.

Me, i have wrapped those ends with cloth-tape so there are no vibrations and noise in road bumps and no trembling.

I'm going to try and get some 3-D printed, and slightly extended by 5mm each. I already had the bonnet strut grommet and locator 3D printed, great results, for only £4!

While I wait for the 3D printed parts (extended version 😄), I did indeed screw in some plastic bolts, they actually work very well!

So, the 3D printed parts arrived, I’ve fitted the parcel shelf lugs and the gearstick gaiter, am waiting for the rear bumper attachment point cover to dry after painting it!
