Octavia VRS wiring problem

Featured Replies

Hi, newbie here.. I have a 2008 BMN engined Octavia VRS estate, still tidy and previously running well. Recently it decided to refuse to do a DPF regen and the local VAG specialist was unable to force a regen. I removed the DPF and had it cleaned off the vehicle, so I assume the pressure differential is (or should be) at acceptable levels now. The code reader says; P2002:06/08194:006 Particulate trap Bank 1 efficiency below threshold. Short circuit to B+ , all standard blocked DPF code except the last bit. The code can be cleared as normal but returns immediately I switch back on, whether the sensor is connected or unplugged, suggesting a loom fault. Can anyone tell me what short circuit to B+ might mean or where I should look? I have removed the loom from the engine as far as the NSF corner where the loom reaches the chassis leg and visually inspected it. There is no chafing or damage visible. Help! Thank you..
