Suspension strut brace?

Featured Replies

Hi All, I did take a look on this site to see if it had come up before, but I didn't find anything - my newly acquired Haynes manual shows a suspension strut brace in the engine bay, yet my Son's Felicia doesn't have one - does anyone have any info on this?

Yep, that makes sense. They rarely had it if not for airbags

Skoda back then had it as accessory in the Sport parts cataloque, i have it my house.

Mine isn't black but aluminium colour and different design, very helpful in turns (Sport style driving in Mountain roads).

I guess my Son doesn't need it then 🙂

I haven't noticed any difference with and without it, they used it for providing better airbag acceleration detection
