It may be a fuel pump problem either failing or not priming system properly or it may have a check valve thats leaking allowing fuel to return to tank when car is not running. Can you hear the in tank pump running when ignition is on? It should run for a few secs until system is primed when ignition is turned on.

Sorry dont know how to translate to French

Hello Alasdair1,
First of all, thank you very much for your quick reply. Regarding the language, no worries, there's always Google. Concerning the fuel pump, I hear it start up (when cold), twice the first time when I open the driver's door (3-4 seconds), then it stops. Then, when I turn the ignition on, it runs for another 5-6 seconds; then nothing if I turn it off and on again. I suppose it has reached its pressure? When I start the engine, it starts with difficulty. I turn the ignition off and on again, and then it starts right up. I also changed the N80 recirculation valve, but nothing changed. It's as you say, as if the fuel isn't getting through? I don't understand it's crazy'

thanks, Skodalux
