I’ve recently been looking into safer ways to travel with larger dogs in the car. I’ve seen mixed opinions about harnesses vs crates.

From what I found, crash-tested harnesses seem to be safer than basic seatbelt clips, especially for long trips.

Would love to hear what setups you guys are using.

Crash tested harnesses are a good option for larger dogs, especially when properly fitted and attached to a strong seatbelt anchor. Some owners also prefer secured crates, since they limit movement and provide more protection in sudden stops. The best setup often depends on your dog’s size, behavior, and available space.
