Park distance control error

Featured Replies

2023 plate superb ( out of warranty)

Left the car for a week got back into it and surprisingly the battery seems flat but it started .

Anyway now the parking sensors have stopped working ( they worked for a brief spell yesterday ).

Keep getting a beep and these warning signs, any ideas?

I use carscanner app and this reader which works well for reading and clearing all codes on my Superb.

Make sure the battery is well Charged. Low voltage can give all Sorts of errors. If not it may be that there is a sensor failed. Using the code reader would tell you which.

Thanks mate 👍🏻

You can also do simple and long coding and service functions. Not found anything yet that I’ve wanted/needed to do that this can’t do. For £8 for the pro version of the app and £22 for the module it’s a tenth of the price of vcds.

Just an update, ive been busy but im now thinking its a battery issue bcz when im parked up for 15 so mins with just radio on the battery is going flat ..seems strange on a 2023 car for the battery to be knackered already!

Ill give it a charge tomorrow whilst on the car see if that works but im beginning to think these errors could be related to the weak battery.

Yes low battery voltage seems to give lots of random errors as the individual control modules start to lose communication with each other. For 2023 is it still under warranty? Seems unusual for the battery to be failing already. Might be worth returning to the dealer and getting them to look.
