I've lurked on Briskoda for a while and thought it was time I actually joined. Thanks for letting me come on board.

I am a long-term Skoda owner starting with a Felicia in 1998. I'm currently on my fifth Octavia estate having owned a Mk1 VRS, a Mk2 VRS, a Mk3 1.4 tsi, a Mk4 1.5 tsi and now a Mk4 1.5 tsi DSG. The Mk3 1.4 tsi was my favourite and I wish I'd never parted with it. So far my experience of the Mk4 hasn't been brilliant - stupid irritating faults and a less than impressive dealer response. I can't help feeling that Skoda are rather taking my 28 years of loyalty for granted and I occasionally have dark thoughts about Toyotas and Hondas. Hopefully joining Briskoda will restore my Skoda mojo.

Hello PerthshireDave and welcome, had a couple of Octavia estates myself over the years starting with a new 1.9 tdi Elegance in 2007 followed by a 2.0 tdi VRS in 2010. Both great cars.
