Featured Replies

Hey all

I'm having a issue with my fab its a monte carlo 1.6 tdi that I hope somebody could help

when I turn the ignition on i get the coil light flashing and it goes straight into limp mode I can turn the ignition off then on again and it goes back to normal

the fault code I'm getting is P20600 boost pressure sensor I have replaced the sensor but its still doing the same.

I have also cleaned the dpf I'm just wondering if anybody else has had the same problem I love my fab but this is driving me nuts now please help lol

Reading other forum, have you tried to replace the turbo actuator? on the 1.2 tsi can cause the same issue that you have, I know they're two completely different engines, but the problem is the same. Also, is there someone local to you with vcds?

If its the same with new sensor and comes on with ignition may be wiring related. Check sensor connection and trace back for any damage to cables. Also read similar problem on a vw site. in their case the map sensor earth was intermittent. I think they have 4 pins Earth, Ecu, power(5v) and air temp. They had a high resistance on the earth pin due to bad earth connection. From memory somewhere under battery tray but may not be the same on Fabia
