Mib2 STD Software Update

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some advice regarding a firmware update for my infotainment system.

Car: Skoda Octavia vRS 2019 (2.0 TDI 4x4) MIB2 STD / H41 / 5Q0 035 874 C / Current Software: 0472

I would like to update to a newer firmware (e.g. 0478), for stability and bug fixes.

I installed an Wireless Carplay Adapter and from time to time my whole Display freezes, gives me an SOS Error and tells me to visit a repair shop. After letting the controll units shut down and restart the car everything goes back to normal - i hope the update would fix that issue.

Could anyone please help me to find the correct files for that because i don't want to risk bricking the unit.

Fuse for glove box light?

The light in the glove box has stopped working. I know the bulb is okay, and I’ve used a multimeter across the contacts on the connector which is showing no voltage at all. Going through the list of fuses, the glovebox light fuse is not listed separately or even as a part of other lighting. It would be useful to know the correct fuse and if any other items also tie to it, since everything else works fine and it can narrow it down to the switch. Thanks in advance!

I used a copy of this MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 MU0490 if anyone else needs, the site I think I had it from was mibsolution.one is currently down though. I was wary of the copy I had and passage of time, but it worked fine installed, I just have to clear the fault code ( have odbeleven but pro ran out and doesn't cover the adaption by looks of it) Excuse the state of my interior I don't use the car that much and could use a vaccuum.

I'm looking at a 2020 Kamiq SEL as a second car, which has the fairly rare 'adaptive' cruise control (not 'predictive adaptive'). I've had mixed experiences with ACC on two Citroens. My recent C5 has it, and it works great and very smoothly so long as you remember that all it really does is keep you on station with the car in front and stop you running into it. Before that had an older Berlingo. That had ACC that it worked, but that system braked fairly hard and later than I'd have liked, then a
