Glitches

Featured Replies

Hi I have a 2.0 diesel and I am getting random faults that are not permanent low oil pressure tyre pressure warning front assist not working esc not working handbrake fault and more but they clear with no history shown on the scanner and car runs fine until the next time it happens anyone else had this problem.

When was the battery changed last?

Random gremlins are very common the battery getting to end of life.

Has had two batteries fitted and coded but still does it no codes are stored very strange

Only other issue is key batteries last only a couple of days

Ok - next likely is a wheel speed sensor; usually the rear left. Not sure on any way to check other than looking for fault codes thrown.

I have had to book another specialist last one fitted a new ECU and harness did nothing

We have Scoda Superb diesel 2016. We had a similar problem. Our garage recommended getting an OBD2. I fault was with the crankcase position sensor. It solved the problem.

I'm presuming a fault code scan has been run but if not, then changing ECU is criminal without it.

No codes shown new ECU was fitted and still has faults drives fine then at random faults come up toggle the ignition several times faults disappear until it happens again even had a new key cut and coded to the car it didn't help.

If not battery or its connection, maybe a Random intermittent earthing problem somewhere??
