Mysterious wires in the boot

Featured Replies

I have a 2025 Elroq 85, mine since Feb 2026, still finding little things to puzzle.

They are in the space just forward of the bumper, it seems strange to leave them just floating there.

They're redundant and part of the quality control process during manufacture. They are used when the car is tested for water leaks on the production line. Just tuck them out of the way and ignore them

Bizarre. I've heard of Fords where people found somebody's sandwich under the back seat, I wonder what else I'm going to find...

Mine is an ex-demonstrator. The sales person was very pleased when I handed over all the loose change from the cubby holes after the test drive.

Sorry to hear yours isn't too reliable.

I had the 12V battery replaced at 5000 miles, at least that seems to have silenced many of the random "bongs".

If you had done just a simple search on here you would have seen how often the same question had been asked, and answered.
