MySkoda app – Missing vehicle data on new Elroq (Only Remote Parking visible)

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I’m struggling with the MySkoda app on my newly delivered Elroq.

While my colleague’s app works perfectly (the blue car in the photos), mine is missing almost all telemetry. I can only see the "Remote Parking" card, but no battery status (SoC), range, climate control or digital certificate.

Steps taken so far:

  • Enabled all Privacy & Data sharing settings in the infotainment.

  • Removed and re-added the car to the app.

  • Reinstalled the MySkoda app.

  • Verified that "Care Connect - Remote Access" is active until April 2029.

The weird part is that the basic connectivity seems fine—the odometer (total mileage) updates correctly, and profile sync (like changing my nickname) works instantly.

I spoke with a former Skoda dealer, and his theory is that the car hasn't been officially reported as "Sold/Delivered" (RDR status) in the master sales database yet. The car arrived at the dealership on Thursday morning, and I took delivery that same afternoon.

Is it possible that the backend restricts telemetry scopes until the sales database syncs with the SkodaID/Connect services?

Has anyone experienced this "partial" activation? Does it just need a few days for the databases to sync?

Thanks for any insights!

Colleague’s Elroq (missing Remote Park Assist is OK):

Have you tried turning off the privacy/data settings then back on again? Also is there a good cellular service where the car is located?

Otherwise reset the comms module:

Turn the car off, pull fuse 19 (in glovebox), wait 2 minutes, put fuse 19 back in, turn car on and wait 10-15 minutes. This resets the communications module in the car and forces it to search for a signal again. It can take 10-15 minutes so be patient.

There have been some cases of failed comms modules in some Elroq and Enyaq models but if you’re getting some data this seems unlikely.

If you are still having issues try reporting through the MyŠkoda app (by shaking your phone), they will be able to reset things on their servers for you. Otherwise it’s back to your dealer…

Yes, I have tried this.
The cellular signal is good, and I have tested it in various locations

I think the communication module is working fine, because I can see the total mileage in the MySkoda app and I've also been able to update apps directly in the car.

I will visit the dealership after the Easter holidays to double-check my delivery status in their system.

I visited the service center today.

They tried everything I’d already done before plus disconnecting the 12V battery (for about 5minutes) - but nothing worked.

In the end, they pulled the diagnostic data from the car and are sending it to HQ in Mladá Boleslav for further investigation.

Quick update: Things got worse after the battery disconnect and factory reset at the dealer. Online services are now completely dead with error ERR_SYS_A0100. I tried the 'Fuse 19' trick (pulled it, waited about 3minutes, and put it back). Connectivity came back for about 5 minutes, but then failed again. Now the Remote Parking option (in MySkoda app) is gone, and the odometer is no longer updating.

There are disabled Battery range and Target temp sections

I can't even perform another factory reset because the system fails to restore: Unfortunately, it is not possible to restore the factory settings on your infotainment system. (likely failing to fetch the online config).

So back to the dealer tomorrow...

I just got some inside info directly from Skoda...

they’ve apparently been dealing with server outages for about 14 days now, which is likely causing these issues.

The car failing to register due to a broken backend service.

Yesterday, I noticed a 'Something went wrong | More' message at the bottom of the app. While at the dealership, we removed the car from the app and performed a factory reset under the supervision of two techs, but the 'More' link didn't show any further info.

A miracle happened!

Based on my feedback in the MySkoda app, I was contacted directly by Škoda Auto Customer Care (Department VX4/1). They told me they had made several adjustments to my profile settings on their backend and asked me to test it again.

Shortly after, the car updated to software version ME 5.6.3, and about two hours later, everything started working perfectly.

All telemetry, battery status, and remote features are finally online

Glad you got a result in the end 👍

Most dealers are pretty much useless when it comes to EVs and software in particular. Reporting potential software issues directly to Škoda via the app usually gets a quicker response.
