Hi. New owner of a 2022MY Enyaq 80 Suite

Featured Replies

Hi. I recently bought a 2022MY Enyaq 80 iV Suite 77kWh. I chose this car make and model from online feedback ("Which" magazine etc), also encouraged by my existing respect for Skoda which dates back to following John Haugland back in the '70s, and by my friend having owned two Octavia. Chose 80 instead of 60, which would have been newer and lower mileage for the same money, because i drive to Medway fairly regularly and the 80 allows that in an unbroken journey without the need to top up.

I had a budget of around £16K and found this one (45K miles). We have had a Megane e-Tech EV in the family recently so I was not totally new to electric cars. Would have been good to have a vRS but the budget was a constraint.

Very much enjoy driving it. Regen capabilities a little disappointing after the Megane: we had selectable four stage regen settings in the Megane where the most extreme setting was much more aggressive than the Enyaq provides and you could bring the Megane quickly to virtually a halt with one pedal driving.

In ride, comfort, interior space and layout the Enyaq is easily superior.

Hi, welcome.

If you've not already seen it, along with all the other subjects and sections on this site is a section for Enyaq with lots of real world info and advice that you can learn from and contribute to. - https://www.briskoda.net/forums/forum/398-%C5%A1koda-enyaq-iv/

Good luck.
