I'm trying to install a nextbase dashcam with a hardwire kit.

Which is the best fuse to use and where best to earth it.

Any reason why you're not just coming out of the USB-C on the centre roof console?

    I didn't know there was a USB-C in the roof console. I'll have to have a look for that.

    I hadn't realised the panel on the nearside (UK) could be popped open. Then I had three choices to secure the earth.

    It all worked straight away.

    Thanks to all have commented. I note one suggested a garage fitted for £200. Halfords will fit for £99, apparently.

    Panel on nearside? Can it? Do you mean end of the dashboard?
