Windscreen washer bottle leak

Featured Replies

I have a SKODA OCTAVIA 2.0 TDI 4x4 150 hp went to fill washer bottle up and water just ran out of the bottom front of the engine bay. I dont know if its a loose hose, split tank, etc. How do I get to it to check, gone are the days when you can just hoik the car on a jack and look underneath it. So much plastic to take off just to look.

Any guidance would be great as there is no Haynes manual for the model as far as I can find anyway.

Many thanks

Remove nearside front wheel. Remove screws securing front inner plastic wheel arch cover. Remove a couple more from underneath front until you can pull the plastic wheel arch back. Behind it and to the front behind bumper you will see the washer bottle. Just had the same issue. I took it all off and it appears to be the rubber grommet between the motor and bottle. Unfortunately I could not get one to day so reassemble and got to order one. Seems like a common issue. Think mine is part number 443 955 465. Tons on ebay. Also found a you tube video showing hot to replace.
